Official: No more Outbound Marketing

An important update regarding Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys, specifically addressing changes and upcoming transitions.

Key Updates:

  1. Removal of Outbound Marketing:
    • Date: Outbound marketing will be removed as of June 30th, 2025.
    • Action Required: All customers currently using Outbound marketing must transition to Real-time journeys before this date to avoid any disruption in service.
  2. Discontinuation of Social Posting and LinkedIn Lead Generation: Marketing on LinkedIn
    • Date: Social posting and LinkedIn lead generation capabilities will be removed on December 2nd, 2024.
    • Future Plans: Social posting will not be supported in Real-time journeys due to low demand. However, LinkedIn lead generation may be added to Real-time journeys in a future release.
  3. Real-time Journeys:
    • Default Offering: Real-time journeys, which launched in August 2021, became the default offering for new customers in August 2023.
    • Capabilities: Real-time journeys offer significantly enhanced capabilities, including 60X scale, dynamic customer interactions, and personalized messaging.
    • No New Licensing Required: Customers already have access to Real-time journeys under their existing licenses.
  4. Transition Guidance and Support:

Action Items:

  • Spread the Word: Ensure that all relevant customers are informed about the need to transition to Real-time journeys.
  • Encourage Transition: Highlight the benefits of Real-time journeys to customers to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Utilize Documentation: Bookmark and refer to the transition guidance section for up-to-date information.

This update is essential to ensure business continuity and to leverage the advanced capabilities of Real-time journeys.
